Erin Mckibben
Erin McKibben is our flutist and has been since the beginning. Erin is forever exploring her low register and she's played an intimate alto flute solo for James Franco in a limousine. She’s also played with 100+ flutes which, if you’re counting, is kind of a lot of flutes. More often than not, Erin is playing, singing, directing, or teaching in Santa Barbara and LA. She aspires to foster a more connected, thoughtful, and tolerant world through music and actively creates the space for a diverse population to become artists. It’s a really beautiful thing. For Erin, a typical evening includes dancing to Berg on vinyl with her husband, Nick and her daughter Rosamund (the only Wild Upling to be named after a famous 6th century wife. And a Schubert Overture.)
